The WL-5480USB-50 is a high performance 802.11g USB with detachable antenna. It is designed to allow your PC to reach the longest distance possible. Rated at 17dBm power, the device offers one of longest distances for WLAN USB adapter available.
 The
included 5dBi patch antenna provides all direction coverage
at twice the distance of standard 2dBi antenna. It is
perfect for indoor client or AP use. For even more demanding
application, the antenna can be removed and replaced with
other antenna (using standard R-SMA connector) for even
longer range.
In addition to the WLAN USB adapter
function, the WL-5480USB can also works as an USB adapter.
The Software AP function to let the device working as
an AP when connected to your PC. The drivers for Windows
and Linux are included.
In addition to the standard WEP encryption
function, the USB also support WPA and the latest 802.11i
standard. It provides the extra security you needed for
your wireless network.
