Turbo-G Family
The AirLive Turbo-G family provides 125Mbps wireless speed at the same cost as the Wireless-G devices. Unlike the Super-G mode that uses channel-binding technology, Turbo-G solution can deliver up to 1.5 times the speed of Wireless-G solution using one single channel. This means higher and more stable performance. Best of all, it is compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b solutions.
Wired Speed Routing Performance
The WT-2000R offers unprecedented IP sharing performance at a surprisingly affordable price. The router is equipped with a powerful processor that can support close to 100Mbps of Internet connection speed which is the speed of the Fast Ethernet connection. With this amazing throughput and a 10/100Mbps WAN port, the router is ready for use with the latest broadband solutions such as VDSL and FTTH. In addition, it comes with 4 auto sensing switching ports with auto-MDI/MDIX function to eliminate the need for cross-over cable.
AirLiveGuard Wireless Security
Wireless Security has always been a concern for most users. The AirLiveGuard system is a combination of multiple layers of wireless protections. Starting with "SSID Hide" that will prevent other users seeing the wireless network without knowing the exact SSID name. Then the WPA/WPA-PSK/WEP function encryptions the data, so intruders won't be able to interpret the wireless data. Therefore, unable to use your wireless connection. At last, the DoubleGuard access control system will lock wireless access to your PC's MAC and IP address. You can choose whether to let PC that are not on the MAC access list to use Internet connection, associate with wireless, or communicate with LAN PC only. This create a combination of 9 possible access schemes for the ultimate controllability.
Scheduling Firewall Security has always been a primary concern for IP sharing and wireless environment. For this reason, AirLive has incorporated a full feature firewall that includes SPI, DoS Attack Prevention, VPN packet filter, and Threshold monitor. The SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection) technology detect situations where individual TCP/IP packets are valid but collectively they become a hacker attack.
The Router is the first in its price range to feature a policy based Firewall. Therefore, you can define which inbound or outbound traffic are allowed. Moreover, the scheduling feature allow user to define what time and day of the week the service would be available.
The URL and domain blocking prevent users from accessing unwanted website by IP or by the domain name. Email notification function enables the router to send email to notify user about hacker's attack or scheduled report on connection log. The WT-2000R even offer the Syslog feature, so administrator can have the log recorded on a separate PC server. Comprehensive content filter and Access Control let administrator monitor and control the network for optimal security and performance.
Wake-on-LAN and Special FTP port
The WT-2000R features a special Wake-On-LAN function. So you can login to the router's UI from Remote, then ask the router to send out WOL packet to wake up specific PCs. The special FTP port allow your router to redirect FTP traffic to a different port than the standard Port 21, so you can continue to operate the FTP server even if your ISP block certain ports.
Easy Management
The router UPnP (Universal Plug-n-Play) capability let your router configure correctly with your PC and multi-user Internet application. The web management features comprehensive online help to explain every single function. Best of all, the setup Wizard guides user through to set up the Internet connection easily. For ISP and enterprise customer, the router support SNMP management functions.
Global Broadband Standard Support
AirLive has invested extra software effort to ensure compatibility with the global broadband standard. In addition to the standard cable modem, fixed IP, and PPPoE client xDSL support. AirLive has added support for PPTP client (Holland, Austria, England, Israel, Czech Republic), L2TP(Holland, Israel), Telstra Bigpond Cable(Australia), and SingTel RAS (Singapore). The WT-2000R is designed to work with most broadband connections in the world.
* The Turbo-G mode works only when using with other Turbo-G devices.
